Barcelona Day 1

It was that time again, time for another adventure. This time, we headed to Spain.

As usual, Snoopy and I do our walkabouts on the day of arrival. It helps with jet lag. We decided to walk around Barrio Gotic.

This place is called the 4 cats and is where Pablo Picasso used to meet up with his friends daily

No, this is not a cave painting, it public art by Pablo Picasso himself.

This was the Barcelona cathedral. Beautiful place.

What? Pictures of animals? I wonder who took those!

After our walkabout, the real fun began. We went to la boqueria off of famed La Rambla

Delicious (and expensive!) Cataluyan Chocolate

Fresh Produce

Fresh Chiles
Then of course, while we are in Barcelona, we have to visit the holy place - Camp Nou - Home of FC Barcelona

Showing the schedule for the infamous Real Madrid VS Barcelona match - with Barcelona defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets in the background

We toured the stadium and saw the troves of trophies won over many decades of play. These are the biggest - UEFA Champions League trophies

Says it all.
We then strolled down to Barceloneta to see the Mediterranean sea (where I got sand in my shoes which caused further problems down the line)
